Nahayo credited the Zimbabwean defender for the teams outstanding defensive performances in the last three league games. Chiefs have not conceded any goals during the period thanks to the rock solid defensive partnership of the duo.
I am happy with my contribution to the team, although there is always a room for improvement, but I must thank Thomas (Sweswe) for the support he has given me since coming back, Nahayo said at the weekend.
He added, The feeling of making a comeback cannot be put in words. I was always looking forward to coming back and helping the team. I am happy that we have not conceded a goal in the last three games and this is something as a defence, not only me, should be proud of.
The 28-year-old Sweswe joined former champions Chiefs after the team lost the services of central defenders Mokete Tsotetsi and Jonathan Quartey at the beginning of the 2009/10 season. He has made the central defensive position his own and has undoubtedly been one of the Absa Premierships best defenders.
His defensive partner Nahayo is back in the team after spending five months out with injury.
