Bulawayo- The National Arts Council of Zimbabwe, director, Eliphas Mari, has urged the corporate sector to financially assist the artists in the country to develop their culture as the government is not able to fund the council at the moment. In a press conference in the city, Mari said that there are artists who might not be gifted in other aspects and rely heavily on performing yet the sector is not well funded leading to the collapse of the arts in Zimbabwe.
Political analysts have said that President Zuma is not likely to change the hostile relations among Global Political Agreement partners. Zumas facilitation team is already in the country. Some analysts have said that Zumas visit is routine and it will not resolve outstanding issues, adding that the three parties in the Government should concentrate on the constitution making process.
