It is our hope that the information provided will be useful to our constituency of readership, particularly the leaders at the local level and civil society practitioners, in informing and shaping their choice of developmental objectives and initiatives.

Mutare- Residents have said that the problem of water supply has not improved much as there are certain areas such as Chipanga Phase 3 and Area 16 which are the most seriously affected. Old pipes that had rusted were the prime cause of water problems as they burst or leaked.

Binga- The people of Binga have complained that most people are taking advantage of them as they want to buy maize and fish from them at cheaper prices. Last week, it is reported that there were three 30Tonne trucks that bought maize at $2 per 20kg from villagers without the chiefs consent.

Upcoming Events

The House of Assembly Portfolio Committee on Media, Information and Communication Technology invites the public to attend and make oral or written submissions on the Public Hearing on Public and Private Media and Telecommunication Services as the Committee will write up their report at the end of all the public hearings held around the country.
