The Zimbabwean last week visited the resort town and found artists busy polishing and making the final touches to their handiwork.
“I am expecting my pieces to give me at least US$600 each. I specialize in making the images of the big five. This event is a life time opportunity for me and I want to fully capitalize on this,” said Philip Ncube, a renowned sculptor.
Another sculptor, Charity Shumba, said she was ready for the international soccer extravaganza.
“We are glad that the Victoria Falls city council has facilitated the selling of our curios at identified strategic centres in the town,” she said.
