The new website is to be officially launched at the home Champions League 1st round clash against FC Saint Eloi Lupopo of the Democratic Republic of Congo, on Sunday the 4th of April at the giant National Sports Stadium.
The launch of the new Dynamos website symbolizes the transition of the club into the digital era, where an international standard official web presence is a basic requirement for a modern professional football club. Dynamos club chairman Farai Muntesi said, “the website is contributing to making Dynamos a modern club.”
With over 7 million followers worldwide, the official launch of the Dynamos F.C. website will provide a welcome place where supporters, media, and partners alike can get all the latest news and information on the club as well share opinions with other Dynamos fans during live matches.
Membership to the site is free and delivers a digest of news updates from the website direct to fans email in-boxes.
Thousands of supporters from 47 countries have already logged on to www.fcdynamos.com ahead of the launch to get news and updates about pre-season developments at the club.
The leading countries in terms of visitors outside of Zimbabwe are the UK, South Africa, Botswana, Australia, the United States, Germany and France.
A spokesperson from Dynamic Sports Marketing who assisted in construction of the site said, “football is global and so is the web, so if a football fan visits fcbarcelona.com then comes to fcdynamos.com, there is no reason why there should be a difference in quality. Fcdynamos.com is one of the highest quality web properties in Zimbabwe, and so it should be for a club of Dynamos’ size and history.”Post published in: Football
