Income ideas take pressure off residents

ZAKA The Rural District Council has embarked on the construction of a US$8,000 abattoir as part of its effort to increase income-generation and reduce pressure on ratepayers.

The abattoir is expected to serve people from as far as Bikita and Gutu districts.

Last year, the council constructed a US$15,000 vendor mart and new toilets for traders at Jerera Growth Point.
