Madhaka, who made headlines during the run up to the June 2008 presidential elections when he terrorized MDC supporters in Mataruse area, last week ordered villagers to pay US$1 for the Independence Day celebrations at Vutsanana Secondary School.
We were shocked when Madhaka and his other Zanu (PF) colleagues, Obey Moyo and Lovemore Machiya, ordered everybody who had attended the celebrations to denounce the Prime Minister and call him a sell out, said a villager, Tommy Zhou, who attended the meeting.
Another villager, Cedric Hove, said: Madhaka acts as if he owns everybody in Mataruse area. Its high time this guy be stopped. At the meeting, a village headman was chased away by Madhaka and his Zanu (PF) thugs for refusing to denounce MDC.
