Anti-corruption commission agreed

HARARE - The three principals to the Global Political Agreement (GPA) have managed to find common ground on the composition of the anti-corruption commission, a senior government official has said.

Deputy Prime Minister Professor Arthur Mutambara, said they had agreed on the names of those who would sit on the committee. “We, the three principals, did a good job, we worked together. The President and Prime Minister did very well. I am glad to say that we managed to cooperate and come up with suitable names of people who we think should be on that committee,” he said.

DPM Mutambara said the only snag was that the SROC of the parliament was yet to review and confirm officially the names of the members.
