We are not surprised by Zanu (Pfs) decision to appeal against the acquittal of our Treasurer General Roy Bennett Zanu (PF) has always played the ball and not the man. They are not interested in justice, but are abusing the judiciary to further their own political agendas, at the expense of national interest. There is no doubt anymore that Zanu (PF) is not sincere in this Government of National Unity. If Zanu (PF) had pursued for the solutions to the problems bedeviling Zimbabwe with the same vigor they are displaying in the Senator Bennetts case, we would be in a far much better state as a country. Honestly individual and selfish interests cant be allowed to hold Zimbabwe at ransom.
Zanu (PF) is clearly interested in delaying the swearing-in of Senator Bennett as the deputy Minister of Agriculture. We have no doubt that Zane PF is prepared to do anything to short-circuit clear dictates of the Government of National Unity. What is unfolding now is not different from other incidents where Zanu (PF) resorted to murder in order to get their way. How many people met their untimely deaths in the roads of Zimbabwe for offending the powers that be at the Shake-Shake building (Zanu PF headquarters). How many people met their timely deaths in mysterious road accidents after offending the powers that be in the Shake-Shake building (Zanu PF head-quarters).
The murderous Zane PF Pharisees are so incensed with the slap that Bennett administered on their ego to an extent that we will be stupid not to suspect that they are busy sharpening their knives. Ambitious and stray Zanu (PF) functionaries attempting to be hardliners can do anything to Paced, as he is affectionately known within the revolutionary circles. Does SADC have to wait until this moment?
