Speaking at the handover ceremony, the organisation’s programmes director, Ann Atkinson, said it had become a norm for the organisation to assist the less privileged in society.
“Quarterly, the organisation makes it a chief priority to assist orphanages, the old age and the health sector, and this quarter it’s our duty to donate and we have chosen the aged people at Mangondoza,” said Atkinson.
Matron of the home, Doreen Mandikonza, expressed appreciation for the donation, saying it had come at their greatest hour of need.
