Funkalicious Part Three will be held on May 15 at Ubuntu with a hip and funky line up.
It will follow the same pattern as the previous two, with an international guest DJ, live act and a local guest DJ. It will push the envelope for music collaborations and creative sounds.
The international guest DJ will be DJ Kid Fonque (Joburg). With a passion for music and an open environment to play in, Fonques taste and selection is massive, instead of noddin the whole night you will find yourself breakin, noddin, samban, and groovin to an amalgamation of sounds.
The live act will be presented by The Cool Crooners (Bulawayo). Critically acclaimed in Europe and locally revered this group possesses seamless vocals and a jaunty brass section that has a feel of music halls, synched waists and men in suits. But the language, rhythm, lilting electric guitar and laid back cool is pure African.
To round it up the local Guest DJ will be Captain Autonomous aka DJ Marv Studd from Vic Falls making his debut on the Harare night scene. DJ Marv has been rocking it up at some of the biggest parties in Victoria Falls and Livingstone, Zambia. He has the funkiest collection in town and will be sure to keep the crowd dancing!
For those party lovers who wish to experience a new vibe to the party scene in H town, Funkalicious Part Three will be the place to be.
