Romans 10:9 says, that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. This is the requirement to get saved, not only to confess with your mouth but to believe in your heart. Most churches ask sinners to confess with their mouths, but there is no mention of believing with their hearts. Let us take it one step further, if one needs to confess and believe to get saved, surely the same principle would apply to believing God for miracles or changes?
So we need to begin to speak good things over Zimbabwe like, Zimbabwe you are blessed. Zimbabwe you walk in the righteousness of Go. Church of Zimbabwe you will receive wisdom and revelation of the power that is in you. (According to Pauls prayer in Ephesians 1). Begin to speak over your own life, begin to quote Deuteronomy 28:3-13. The more you speak it the more you will believe. I was reading an article about a Protea cricket player who was struggling with his batting technique. In order to change he had to practise the shot 10,000 times! Surely this is a lesson for us that to change our thinking and renew our minds, we need to spend much time in meditating and speaking the Word.
When you hear or read bad reports, counter them with the Word. When you hear that 40% of the people are going to die because of swine flu, speak the Word, Thank you Jesus by your stripes I was healed. When you feel the symptoms of flu coming on you, dont say, I think Im getting the flu. Speak to those symptoms – tell them your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit.
If you want to please God, then begin to trust Him, begin to meditate on His Word. It says in the epistle of John, that the Holy Spirit is our teacher. So allow the Holy Spirit to begin to teach you. In Ephesians 1:17-23 Paul prays that we would receive a spirit of wisdom and revelation. If you want to continue to impress God with your works then I have news for you, God considers your works as filthy rags – (Isaiah 64:6).

What the church needs to do is rise up believing God will change things in our country and speaking His truth over Zimbabwe.
