Striker Evans Gwekwerere struck home in the first half before Cuthbert Malajila weighed-in with a second after the break as DeMbare took their points tally to the maximum possible 18 from the six games they have played in the season.
Their win at the weekend, which followed the 1-0 win over Shooting Stars in a midweek fixture on Thursday, leaves Elvis Chiweshe’s side within touching distance of early-season pacesetters Motor Action.
However, Motor Action maintain a slender one point lead at the top of the league table following their 3-0 demolition of Monomotapa but the Mighty Bulls have played a game more than Dynamos.
And should Dynamos win their rescheduled match against champions Gunners, they could topple the Mighty Bulls from the top of the league table.
Dynamos coach Evis Chiweshe said their winning streak was a reminder to other teams that they should respect Dynamos in this race because they were a bigger institution.
“We played very well and I am glad we keep on improving with each game. My appeal to other teams is that they should respect Dynamos because we are a big team. We always win even on a day we are playing badly,” Chiweshe said.
