Speaking to The Zimbabwean this week, Murape said hard work and determination is the reason they are currently unbeaten and vows to be a champion at the end of the season. “We have been working hard at training, and our focus also helps us a lot in subduing our opponents and as a result it becomes difficult for us to be defeated.
“We are aiming to be the champions at the end of the season and we have no doubt about that and we are raring to go as a team and no one will stop us,” added Murape. Prominently known as ‘Monya for Higher’, Murape Murape is one of the most seasoned Dembare players. In 2007 he was crowned the CBZ player of the year, after leading Dynamos to a famous CBZ cup win over Highlanders and the league title. He also featured for the side which reached the African Champions League final in 1998 under the mentor-ship of Sunday Chidzambwa who is regarded as the most successful coach in Zimbabwe.
