Tsvangirayi ask for prayer for the GPA

tsvangirai.jpeHARARE: The Zimbabwean Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirayi (pictured) has asked for prayer for peace and tolerance in the inclusive government between himself and the President Robert Mugabe.

The Prime minister was talking to the American evangelist and Author Joyce Meyer had paid a courtesy call at his Munhumutapa offices in Harare on Tuesday evening. Tsvangirayi told the evangelist that when they disagree they do so respectfully with the President. He briefed the world renowned preacher that the inclusive government was the only viable way to soft land Zimbabwe’s political and economic crises which had assumed untenable proportions. “Please pray for peace and tolerance and let people understand that they can disagree without necessarily subjecting one another to injury,” said the Prime Minister.

Meyer concurred jokingly saying, Certainly Mr. Prime Minister people can disagree agreeably”. she told the Prime Minister that she was in Zimbabwe not only to preach the word of God but also to do some humanitarian work and change the lives of the underprivileged. The preacher is billed to preach in the Festival of Life which will run from June 4 to 6 in Harare an Bulawayo.
