Yours truly this week introduces the former Zimbabwes Dream Team and Highlanders consistent goal-scorer Adam Ndlovu, who is currently attending a coaching course in South Africa. I am currently in school doing a coaching course, he said.

Like any other player my desire is to help other youngsters reach their dreams, and by engaging in this course I am aware I will benefit a lot of knowledge which will help me in dealing with young players.

I am also dealing with young players, I have been doing this and that, giving them ideas and training them, here and back home.

I want to be a top coach one day at national level but I am not in a hurry but that is my goal, added a determined soft spoken Ndlovu.

Born 40 years ago in Bulawayo, Adam started his football career with Highlanders Juniors where he graduated to the first team at 19 years. He featured for Bosso (Highlanders) for a few years and he was signed by Switzerland based outfit F.C Zurich, before signing for another Swiss side Delemont.

While at F.C Zurich he impressed the Zimbabwe national team mentor the late Germany born Dream Team tactician Reinhard Fabisch in the early 90s. In Fabischs Dream Team he played alongside his blood brothers, Madinda and Peter. The Dream Team also featured the great late players Francis Shonayi and Benjamini Konjera.

After more than a decade playing in Europe, Adam was forced out by a career threatening injury and opted to return to Highlanders in early 2000s where he also had a fruitful season and caught the eyes of Dube Birds. They never hesitated in bringing him to their nests. He ended his career with South Africas Moroka Swallows, who are prominently known sa Dube Birds, some few seasons ago.
