Wang Gang, a member of the CPC Central Committee Political Bureau, was this week visiting the capital, made the announcement during a meeting with Zanu (PF) National Chairman, Simon Khaya Moyo and other party officials.
Making reference to the 30th anniversary of Zimbabwes independence, Gang applauded the country for its great achievements under the ruler ship of President Robert Mugabe. He made particular reference to economic growth and living standards which he said had greatly improved. From his remarks it is clear that he has not listened to the voices of the ordinary people who continue to suffer the after effects of the past decades economic collapse.
Wang tabled his four-point proposal on ways to further develop economic relations between China and Zimbabwe. It covered the strengthening of high-level exchange, the exchange of ruling experiences, the promotion of bilateral cooperation and the promotion of informal exchange. Staff reporter
