COPAC invites written contributions from Diaspora

The Parliamentary Select Committee (COPAC) is asking people in the Diaspora to write in their contributions which they want included in the new constitution after it failed to launch a website.

Initially COPAC had indicated that a website would be launched to reach out to close to four million Zimbabweans residing outside the country.

COPAC Spokesperson, Jessie Majome, said: “We have experienced unprecedented challenges so at the moment we have not yet set up the website. What we encourage people outside the country to do is to make written proposals which they can send to us. We would want the outreach phase to be broad based so people outside the country should make an effort to send us their view.”

“We are making frantic efforts to reach out to every Zimbabwean, she said.
