In an interview with The Zimbabwean, a jovial Sanii said: I am happy to release the album after months of hard work. It has been a busy task for me to complete the album,” he said.
Added Sanii: I am also very grateful of my wife Fadzai, who has been supportive for seven years. I would like to dedicate this album to my daughters Unathi and Nothando.
“I want my new album to penetrate the international market and that is why I wrote a song Happy Birthday Zimbabwe as we are now entering a new phase filled with hope and aspirations. As Africans, we have to unite and put Zimbabwe on to the international map,” he said.
He added: I hope my videos will be aired on satellite music television channels such as Channel O and MTV Base. I would like to urge my fans to support me on the new album.
Cindy Munyavi, Leonard Mapfumo and Zubz are some of the artistes featured on the album.
Sanii, who burst onto the scene with the hits Umsindo, Usadaro among others, has three albums to his name.
