We want to collect a million signed pledges against xenophobia, intolerance, intimidation and violence by African Human Rights Day on the 17th of October 2010.
The launch takes place tomorrow in Du Noon (the epicentre of xenophobic violence in the Western Cape in 2008) and will be supported by the public reading and signing of the pledge by Catholic Archbishop of Cape Town, Stephen Brislin and Western Cape Police Commissioner, General Mzwandile Petros.
After the signing ceremony, community workers and campaign volunteers will collect signatures from members of the public.
Find out more about the campaign visiting our website www.uniteasone.org.za and/or facebook page – http://www.facebook.com/unite.as.one.
