The skies over Zimbabwe and Zambia are opening up and we see some exciting opportunities there. As we expand, we will need longer-range aircraft, 1time Holdings CEO Glenn Orsmond said.
Currently the airline is servicing Mozambique and Zanzibar.
The airline is expected to shake up its competitors with the launch next month of five flights a week between Johannesburg and Maputo, charging about half the fare of its closest rivals.
It has long-term plans to expand beyond the region into the rest of Africa and is for the first time looking at acquiring new aircraft in the next few years.
