mdc_demoTwo armed Zanu PF supporters on Monday attacked three sons of an MDC activist, Cruiser Svosve at Gokwe Centre, Midlands North province accusing them of foiling their plan to murder their father in 2008. The Zanu PF supporters, Ramius Chitopera and one Zimba attacked Svosves sons Terrence, Casper and Morris in Mapfungautsi suburb.

The two, who were armed with knives, accused the three of foiling their attempt in murdering the elder Svosve in June 2008 when Zanu PF supporters ran riot and murdered over 500 MDC activists across the country. Svosve is an MDC Gokwe district member. During the attack, the Zanu PF thugs also burnt the three brothers clothes. Svosve managed to report the case at Gokwe Centre police station but was instead told to bring the culprits.

Meanwhile, in Bikita South, Masvingo province, seven Zanu PF supporters who went on a rampage in 2008 destroying MDC supporters houses are threatening and intimidating villagers in the Nyahunda area. According to the MDC Bikita South Youth Assembly chairperson, Sol Barika, the Zanu PF youths are claiming that they will continue causing violence in the area because they will not be arrested.

The Zanu PF youths are; Joy Zvakurambira, Solomon Zvinoitavamwe, Ramios Mutasa, brothers Sam and Funny Masunda, Ramios Machaya and Washington Washeni. The seven have since been reported to the police.
