The duo expressed hope the Zimbabwe international, who was voted Jet Club Roookie of the Year Award a fortnight ago, will take over from where he left off last season as his goals helped Chiefs finish third last season and to win the Telkom Knockout Cup.
Knowledge scored crucial goals for the team last season and proved to be a good signing for the Club, said Bafana Bafana midfielder Tshabala.
He works very hard at training and is always hungry to score. Knowledge is also a humble guy who has managed to keep his feet on the ground. It is our responsibility as senior members in the team to guide the youngsters and ensure that we protect them.
Skipper Tau echoed Tshabalalas sentiments. He is a good player and has a bright future ahead of him. There is no doubt that we have a very good mixture of young and older players in the team. I would like to congratulate Musona for his achievement and also give credit to the team for helping him to deliver at the level he delivered next season, he told the clubs official website.
Musona won the Jet Club Rookie of the Year Award after a productive debut season at Amakhosi, whom he joined ahead of the 2009/10 season.
Apart from scoring five league goals, he netted the winning goal for his club during the Telkom Knockout final against Ajax Cape Town as his team won 2-1.
Musona, a product of Black Aces Youth Soccer Academy in Zimbabwe, was signed alongside countrymen, Zhaimu Jambo and Thomas Sweswe.
The Jet Club Rookie of the Year is awarded to the most outstanding rookie of the season. To be considered a rookie, a player must be in his first year in the PSL. The award was established in 2001 and is sponsored by Jet.
