IKAPA MEDIA and NAFCOC, together with the NEPAD, and its partners will host the first NEPAD Small Business Summit. The Limpopo Small Business Summit is a public and private sector conference which aims to advance the objectives of NEPAD and NAFCOC, which include facilitating co-operation amongst all Small Business Enterprises, both in South Africa and on the African continent.
The Small Business Summit and Expo will serve as your global connection to explore business opportunities, establish new contacts, enhance import and export avenues, network, exchange views and ideas and promote Intra-Africa trade. The summit is a key initiative that aims to strengthen bilateral links established between the NAFCOC, DTI, SEDA and similar organizations in African countries and strengthen co-operation between all developing nations by enhancing the small business sector.
Further expanding the program, IKAPA MEDIA and NAFCOC, together with the NEPAD and partners, will continue to bring together international governments, leaders of autonomous trade regions, leading multilateral and bilateral agencies, public and private sector investors, trade representatives, manufacturers, exporters, brokers, suppliers and service providers from expert technical personnel to global executives, with the single goal of supporting and participating in African economic development.
Devine Sena, Project Manager, NEPAD Limpopo Small Business Summit, says The Summit is aimed at those to whom Africa matters in other words businesses already involved in Africa or seeking to be involved and who wish to update themselves about investing in Africa through small-medium enterprise and those wanting to start small businesses and who wish to expand into Africa. Our goal at the Small Business Summit 2010 is to provide a platform for the international knowledge based community.
Some key note speakers who will address delegates are Arnold Ekpe CEO Ecobank, Dr. Chunlin Zhang – Lead Private Sector Development Specialist-World Bank.
In this regard, Ikapa Media, NEPAD and its partners wish to invite you and your honorable members to participate in the summit.
