What does playing at Zimfests Zimbabwe Rocks concert mean to you and what can we expect from your set? Are you familiar with some of the other acts performing at the show? And which other Zimbabwean artists are on your radar at the moment?
Were familiar with quite a lot of the line-up. Never met any of them so hopefully we can network. Tinashe is on everyones lips, and duly so.
How did you convince your mother to let you pursue music and not medicine or law?
Our mothers have never really had a choice..lol
You will be releasing an EP pretty soon, can you tell us a little bit about it?
Well, well be performing a couple of the EP tracks @ Zimfest. The EP is something weve been working on for a while but are getting everything around it ready. Theres something for everyone with electro being at the forefront.
Eight months into 2010, what has been your highlight? What are you looking forward to in the rest of the year?
So far a lot has happened but the highlight has probably been collaborating with American artist Matisyahu after remixing his single One Day. For the rest of the year well be looking to get as much mileage in, with regards to gigging.
