Harare - Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai has warned Zanu (PF) that the continued partisan existence of the Attorney General Johannes Tomana At the end of the day accountability is about being answerable to the people for your actions, deliverable vision and values. Those who continue to promote the culture of impunity can not hide from the people forever, Tsvangirai told delegates attending an audit of government performance organised by the Centre for Public Accountability in Harare on Monday.
Tsvangirai said Tomana was a stumbling block to the countrys democratic process.
One of the biggest challenges facing us as the nation is the constant and deliberate violations of the rule of law. This campaign is made possible by an Attorney General that takes his orders from his political masters, rather than fulfilling his constitutional mandate role, he said.
Regional parliamentarians who were part of the workshop urged Zimbabweans to force the government to reveal its activities because they were the ones who made them occupy the public offices. The Zimbabwe Mail
