Saturdays clash will be an interesting tale in the reversed impact of yellow cards. Dynamos paid the price for players picking up second yellow cards in the ill fated match against Entente Setif, resulting in them travelling to Lubumbashi with a severely depleted team. It remains to be seen whether Esperance gaffer Faouzi Benzarti will risk any of the players who are currently on yellow cards (Naouar, Hicheri Ben Youssef Derbala , Chammam, Afful, Korbi, Bouazza and dangerman Eneramo). A second yellow for any of these players would mean suspension for the semi finals, and as Esperance have already qualified, Banzartis decision will be instructive. Benzarti has an interesting quandary, Esperance would want to top Group A and avoid behemoths Al Ahly but at the same time he doesnt want to risk the suspension of key players regardless of who they face. Dynamos on the other hand have the core of their squad returning after seven of them missed last weeks game against TP Mazembe.
In ther build up to this game media speculation is rife linking former Dynamos coach Keagan Mumba with a return to the Glamour Boys. The former De Mbare gaffer has refuted all speculation saying to the Lusaka Times, The reports are not true. For now I have a contract here in Zambia with the Zambia National Service to coach Choma Eagles, they should keep Chiweshe and support him. Mumba said.

Such is the standard that the Glamour Boys have set in their history in continents premier club football competition, that their exit in the quarter final stage of the Champions League is a bitter pill to swallow. A good result against Tunisian giants Esperance this Saturday at Rufaro stadium would go some way to helping ease the pain of exiting at a stage many hoped
