He told The Zimbabwean on Sunday, I am now a players agent, Im now retired and concentrating on helping others out there to reach their dreams and play in their desired leagues.

I also challenge them to work very hard if they want live their dreams. Success goes with hard working.

I dearly miss those days in the field of play whereby we used to beat other teams with my national side…everything has its time. I am determined to help my talented brothers to go places.

As an agent, Dhina will face the challenge of constantly scouting for new talent and negotiating for fair contracts so that players will not be ripped off.

Born 36 years ago in Harare, the former nomadic player turned professional with the now defunct outfit Darryn T, at a tender age of 16 under the mentorship of former Zimbabwes Warriors controversial coach and Polish born Wesley Grabowski.

At 20 years he was snatched by the Polish based outfit Milliarda, and he never lasted long there as another offer came on his plate from the Turkish side Petrol Ofisi who quickly shipped him to their nest a year after he was with Milliarda.

After some years with Petrol Ofisi he decided to return home where he signed for the 1996 Caps United greatest side of all time. He featured for them for three years until he crossed the borders to the much lucrative league of Africa, the South African Premiership where he signed for Ajax Cape Town in 1999/2000. After 4 years with Ajax he crossed the floor to Orlando Pirates in 2003\4 season. He spent five years with the Bucs, until he went to Dubai in 2008/9 season where he final hang up his boots.

Dinha also featured for the Zimbabwean U-17,20,23 and the senior team, where he played along Chamu Musanhu, the late Benjamini Konjera, Alois Bunjirs, Charles Yohane, Peter and Adam Ndlovu, the late Cain Muteji and Innocent Chikoya.

Dinha who works in collaboration with the world soccer body FIFA, is now based in South Africa.

He expressed his reluctance to go back home because of the political and economic instability.

I am here for good and I have a permanent residence permit, which makes things easier for me to reside within the country. Our country is having a lot of political problems and it will be a personal suicide for me and my family to go there at this stage.

Married with children, he said he was protective of his family.

“I love my family very much but I wouldnt want to say much about them as they will be a target to some of the thugs out there who might want to siphon money out of me,” he said.
