In an interview, Sundowns spokesperson Loius Shakoane said: I can confirm that Gorowa is now a member of the Mamelodi Sundowns family and part of our technical staff.

Gorowa is one of five coaches who will assist Spanish-born Antonio Lopes Habas as the former champions seek a return to their glory days.

He has previously coached Moroka Swallows, whom he guided to a top eight finish in 2007/08. Previously, he was assistant to Roger Palmgreen and Muhsin Etugral at Thanda Royal Zulu and Ajax respectively.

He joins countrymen Esrom Nyandoro, Method Mwanjali and Nyasha Mushekwi at The Brazilians.
