Pretoria A teenager who killed two motorcyclists and injured a third when driving his mothers Hummer in South Africa is in hiding in Zimbabwe, according to a text message sent to his mum. The text is reported to say that he wants to go home but is too scared. Two men were killed instantly, and the son of one of the victims was taken to hospital with injuries when the 18-year-old driver crashed into them. The Hummer burst inbto flames and the 18-year-old ran away.
The police have told his parents to convince him to give himself up or they will issue a warrant for his arrest. Meanwhile, the mother has been changing her story, saying she didnt know which of her sons had taken the car and that her 31-year-old son had taken the Hummer with her blessing.
