Today President Tsvangirai accompanied by senior MDC officials visited the Taruvinga home in St Marys Chitungwiza to pay condolences to the family. He described the late mai Taruvinga as a principled woman who was determined to see true democracy and real change in Zimbabwe. President Tsvangirai was accompanied by deputy president Khupe, Deputy Secretary General Tapiwa mashakada, Deputy Treasurer General Hon Mangoma, party spokesperson Hon Chamisa, Women’s Assembly chairperson Hon Makone, health Minister Hon Madzorera and the deputy minister of media, information and publicity Hon Murisi Zwizwai.
Other MDc cardes who have died from the accident are Anna Mubaiwa, Innocent Muzuva, Alex Magunda and Loveless Sango. Mai Taruvinga leaves behind five children, Lewis, Lilian, Leah, Lazarus and Lizzie. Mourners are gathered at number 138b Harava Street St Marys. She will be burried on wednesday at the warren hills cemetery in Harare.
