The Zimbabwean international, who has won back his place in the league hopefuls, hailed the coach and teammates for the turn of events after a frustrating off-season.

Lack of action during preparations for the new season saw him struggle to win a starting berth at The Amakhosi.
He believes he is now back to his best.
It was difficult and frustrating having to watch from the side those opening games, it took a lot of counselling from the coach and my teammates to get me into the correct frame of mind and to help me get me to the level that I am currently playing at.
Everything is now back in order and things are going really well for the team and my self, he told the clubs official website in Johannesburg .
The 28-year-old hailed the prevailing team spirit at the club saying it boded well for the teams championship ambitions.
He said: I remember when we won the league championships in 03-04 and 04-05 the good spirit in the camp was responsible for us winning the title twice, there were games when despite having our backs to the wall our character shone through and no matter what challenge we faced we were ready to take it on and won games that we should not have.
Nengomasha has been a key player for Chiefs since joining in 2002. He has played about 300 games for the former champions.
