Zanu drops spineless leader

sikhanyiso_ndlovuBULAWAYO Zanus former information minister Sikhanyiso Ndlovu (pictured) has been dropped as co-ordinator of the partys central committee in the province.

Retired colonel Tshinga Dube said Ndlovu had been relieved of his duties because he was not competent at his job and was a spineless leader.

Calistas Ndlovu will take over the post.

Defections to Zapu and loss of support for Zanu seem to have shaken the partys confidence in its leaders. Matabeleland North chair Zenzo Ncube has also been axed for being ineffective.

The majority has agreed that we elect Dr Calistas Dingiswayo Ndlovu to replace Dr Sikhanyiso Duke Ndlovu. We have realised that Ndlovu is not competent enough to coordinate the party programmes, said Dube. A lot of concerns have been raised that he is a spineless leader.

Dube said most party members had stopped going to meetings and said this as down to Ndlovus alienating leadership style.
