Zanu (PF) last week accused MDC of “hijacking” national projects after Mutseyekwa invited Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai to the launch of the groundbreaking ceremony of Phase 2 of Willowvale Flats Project. The former ruling party argued that the event should have been presided over by President Robert Mugabe and that the MDC was seeking to politically outdo Zanu (PF).
However, Mutseyekwa has come out guns blazing accusing Zanu (PF) of insincerity and politicking to avoid giving credit where it is due.
“These guys are not sincere. They are choosing to be political instead of acknowledging the good work we are doing in government and that MDC is indeed a party of excellence,” said Mutseyekwa.
The minister added that improving infrastructure and the wellbeing of Zimbabweans had always been the priority of his ministry in line with his party agenda of bringing real change to the people.
