The Minister of State Enterprise and Parastatals, Hon. Gorden Moyo said he knew the late Ndlovu from his days as a student at the University of Zimbabwe and he would also cherish that he was a humble man who stood for the rights of the down-trodden. Senior politicians who attended the burial are; Binga MP and minister of Public Works, Hon. Gabuza Joel Gabbuza, Senator Gladys Dube of Mabutweni, Nketa MP, Hon. Seiso Moyo and Hwange MP, Hon. Brian Tshuma.
On Saturday, over 500 MDC Chitungwiza province youths took part in a clean up campaign at Unit D and Makoni shopping centres in Chitungwiza. The campiagn which took place under the banner A clean environment free from violence was held as a way to commemorate 16 days of activism against gender based violence at a time when Zanu PF supporters continue to harrass, intimidate and assault villagers in the provinces. The clean up campaign was attended by the MDC national Youth Assembly chairperson, Hon. Thamsanqa Mahlangu and the Youth Secretary General Solomon Madzore.
