On new years eve, Murayicho, accompanied by dismissed former Zanu (PF) youths, Taurai Sauti, Garikayi Nyamakambo and 13 others, besieged bottle stores and beer halls beating up revellers suspected to be MDC. The group is moving about in an 18-seater commuter omnibus. Murayicho routinely ordered beers from retail outlets for the youths and left without settling bills, said an eye witness.

Last week he reportedly settled an outstanding $76 bill at Nhekayiro Bottle Store after he was reported to senior police officers.

At Nyameni business cente, the rogue group beat up and seriously injured bottle store patrons, Sydney Chihaka and another only identified as Gwama. They also attacked and forced revellers to flee from a bar at COMOIL Service Station owned by Zanu (PF) Minister, Saviour Kasukuwere.

Kasukuwere arrived at the scene at midnight on his way to Mozambique soon after Murayicho and his colleagues in crime had left. The minister was told about the incident and ordered his personal body guards to hunt for Murayicho around town but their search was in vain. Kasukuwere was visibly angered by Murayichos unruly behaviour and vowed to do something about it, said a patron at COMIL.

The youths hired by Murayicho were dismissed from Zanu (PF) following their illegal attempts to invade Sable Ranch and Worswick Farms late last year.

Last Saturday, Murayicho, made good his escape from Nyameni Shopping Centre as residents threatened to manhandle and discipline him for his wayward behaviour. His youths drove off in the commuter omnibus leaving the terrified Murayicho behind. He was whisked away by a Good Samaritan who sensed danger was about to befall the overzealous Zanu (PF) official.
