Human Security: The key to sustainable peace

About Mr. Maguwu Mr. Maguwu has been working in the human rights sector in Zimbabwe for the past 10 years, first as a Student activist and then as a researcher and advocate for sustainable development, transparency and accountability in the extractive sector. He holds a Bachelor of Arts with Education degree from Africa University, a Master in Peace and Governance from the same institution and a Master of Arts in Peace and Conflict studies from the European University Center for Peace Studies in Austria. Mr. Maguwu is the founding Director of the Center for Research and Development (CRD) based in Mutare. The CRD promotes peacebuilding work in rural communities as well as to carry out research and documentation in the extractive sector.
