Snowy magical mystery tour

snow_paA 72-year-old spent three days trying to drive home from Gatwick Airport after the snowy conditions confused him.

Mohammed Bellazrak’s family reported him missing when he couldn’t get to his home in Trowbridge after he dropped his wife off for a flight from the airport.

The Moroccan-born and Wiltshire-based grandad had a broken sat-nav and no mobile phone, reports The Metro.

Oxfordshire police used number-plate recognition systems to flag down Mr Bellazrak and get him home.

Further analysis using the technology found that he had driven around a few towns in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire during his magical mystery tour, as well as stretches of the M4.
