Zim duo wanted for murder in SA

JOHANNESBURG - Hillbrow police are searching for two Zimbabwean men, David Moyo and Elias Antony Maseko, in connection with the murder of Cathels James at house number 67 Joel Street in Berea.

SAPS Detective Warrant Officer Van Blommestein of Hillbrow police says an identified witness saw Moyo and Maseko with the deceased prior to his death. “Our witness saw Moyo and Maseko with the deceased carrying beer before he was found dead. It is also allegedly that the deceased was a close friend to the suspects. We also want to inform the public that Maseko goes by a street name of ‘Vie’,” said Van Blommestein.

The suspects are nowhere to be seen; they took all their belongings and fled their residential place. Cathels was hit on his head, staffed in mouth and had his hands tied at his back. It is believed that Cathels was murdered in the late hours of 10th December or 11th December early morning hours.

A lot of electrical gadgets and other house belongings were taken from Cathels house soon after he was murdered. It is believed that suspects have fled to Bulawayo where they come from.
