Zembe, the Academy Proprietor and Chairman, is currently a visiting lecturer at Solusi University. A businessman turned academic, he holds a Master of Business Administration degree.
Known as the Ambassadors Advent Academy the educational institution has already been registered with the Ministry of Education, Sports and Culture and the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education.
A spokesman for the Academy told ***The Zimbabwean that it would offer a wide range of reputable academic, professional and vocational courses. The Academy is located in Kambuzuma’s Section 5 Shopping Centre.
The spokesman said some of the Academy Directorate included Charity Zembe, Luxon’s wife, who is Co-Proprietor and a Director, Joy Chigogora, from the Danish Institute of Seed Pathology, Dr S Musvosvi, Damascus Mhute, past President of the Institute of Personnel Management of Zimbabwe (IPMZ) and a distinguished human resources practitioner and strategist, and Kudakwashe Munyawari, who has more than 15 years branding and advertising experience in Zimbabwe and abroad.
Part of the faculty includes Nesbert Zembe, who takes over the human resources portfolio, Cuthbert Tapudzi, who has 21 years teaching experience especially in biology, Alexander Moyana, Evermore Mutsogoro, who will teach computer science and Biggie Chiranga, a mathematics teacher with more than 18 years experience.
The spokesman said other academy faculty includ Engelbert Muyoro, who will teach religious studies, Florence Mastilele (shona), Grimond Zembe, business studies, Xumetani Tavaziwa (business studies and economics) and Precious Usai (English and Bible studies).
