Speculation was rife in the neighbouring country that Terror would be released from his contract, while other local papers had already reported that the Rustenburg-based club had already terminated Mandazas contract, after the Zimbabwean had failed to live up to his hyped signing from Botswana.
However, Dikwenas General Manager, Jason Raine, said the reports and speculation were all unfounded, adding that the 26-year-old Mandaza was still a part of the clubs future plans.
Terrence’s contract is still firmly in place and he remains very much a part of Platinum Stars plans for the future. The coach wants him and management will do everything to support him,” said Raine.
Mandaza joined Stars in July 2010 from Botswana outfit, Township Rollers, where he had spent the previous season scoring for fun in Botswanas Premier Soccer League, rattling the net 42 times in 33 games in all competitions.
