Mrs Lesabe memorial service set for Friday, 18 February at Bulawayo Large City Hall.A memorial service for the late Mrs T.V Lesabe will be held at the Bulawayo Large City Hall on Friday 18th February 2011. Several speakers, among them Zapu president Dr D Dabengwa will address the mourners, after which a church service will be conducted. Other speakers will include representatives of the Lesabe family and senior citizens.
Mrs Lesabes body will leave after the service for her farm in Fort Rixon, where she will be laid to rest on Saturday morning. Members of the public wishing to travel to Fort Rixon from Bulawayo for the funeral must be at the City Hall car park by 6.30 am on Saturday. Buses and other modes of transport have been organized.
A very senior member of South Africas ruling ANC party will be guest speaker at Mrs Lesabes burial on Saturday. ANC and Zapu were sister liberation movements and the ties have been reactivated following the revival of Zapu.
