Meanwhile, another MDC member, Pilate Tshuma who was arrested in November 2010 and charged for insulting the President was yesterday given reprieve when Bulawayo High Court Judge Justice Nicholas Ndou, set aside his sentence and conviction for calling Robert Mugabe a dog. Justice Ndou ordered for a retrial of the case by another magistrate.
Tshuma last year appealed to High Court arguing that he was unfairly convicted and fined US$50.
