their stay in South Africa until the end of July. Even though this concession is greatly appreciated, PASSOP remains worried that the

Zimbabwean government will not deliver the necessary passports by that time. Considering the current developments, PASSOP will shelve its short-term plans to protest, but will remain ready to protest in the event of the Zimbabwean government’s failure to meet the expectations raised.

We recognise the lostigical constraints, but the biggest constraint is the lack of political will. We expect that the Zimbabwean government, if it is serious, should initiate the distribution of passports in the repsective provinces where the applications were received.
