One senior player who spoke to The Zimbabwean on condition of anonymity, said the players had told the management that they would share equally the proceeds from CAF, but that the management was now dragging its feet on the issue. It is believed the management wants to offer them 40 per cent of the proceeds instead of the agreed 50 per cent.
“We told the executive that we will share the money equally once it comes from CAF.
We are trying to have a meeting with the team management to see how this issue will be resolved because we just hear that they are planning to give a percentage which we did not agree with them,” said the player.
Dynamos secretary, Oliver Manyau, declined to reveal much, saying only that they would hold a meeting with the players once they received the money from CAF.
