ARV sites established

arvHARARE - The National Aids Council (NAC) has managed to set up over 300 antiretroviral access sites countrywide, a significant increase from the two sites that existed in 2004.

The development came after people in some remote areas raised concerns about the distances they had to travel to access medical services. Some villagers who spoke to The Zimbabwean said they were travelling more than eight kilometres to the nearest referral centres.
