HARARE Long time friends and sungura musicians, Tongai Dehwa Moyo and Somandla Mafia Ndebele, have confirmed that they have been working on a joint album that is due to be released this year. (Pictured: Tongai Moyo is set to do another joint album with Dehwa
The two musicians previously released a duet album, Mwoyo Wekurera, that featured the title hit track. In separate interviews the two musicians said they were looking forward to the music project. Our previous duet was a big hit and we are still carrying those memories.
I hope that if all things go according to our plans we are going to have another album together, said Moyo. Thanks to the interest of fans in another joint album, Ndebele decided to go back into the recording studio with Moyo.
