The album is expected to hit the airwaves later this month and will feature South African based Zimbabwean dancehall artiste, Buffalo Souljar. The album, said Sibanda, will also feature two songs that she believes will make it in the music scene.
The two songs are Hey Lover and Should Never Leave.
“Should Never Leave is a love song that is about a woman who tells her husband never to leave her as a result of the difficulties they are facing in their relationship. The song emphasises that there is no relationship that is perfect,” explained Sibanda who is recognised as Queen Vee in the music circles.
She said the album will be a fusion of Soul, RnB and African rhythm.
“I have already put some final touches on the video of the song Hey Lover. The editing of the video has already been done and there are some final touches left. The video is going to be launched on Channel O, MTV and ZTV anytime from now,” she said.
Sibanda said: “I have always had a passion for music and I believe there is no limit to my potential in modelling and music. It has been overwhelming working on my first album and I am looking forward to working with other artistes.”
The former Miss Tourism Zimbabwe 2008 winner has recently featured on the video of a song titled French Girl which was done by Buffalo Souljar and Sleek Notes from Angola.Post published in: Music
