Gaddafi trains with Dynamos

cuthbert_malajilaHARARE - Cuthbert Malajila (pictured) who has been nicknamed "Gaddafi" after he fled Libya because of an uprising against the country's leader trained with Dynamos this week on Thursday raising further speculation that he could be joining the Harare giants.

The former Highlanders, Chapungu and Dynamos marksman has been turning out for Al Akhdar in Libya but fled the violence-rocked country two weeks ago and looks set to join Dynamos after he trained with Lloyd Mutasa side at Raylton Sports Club this week.

But the player insisted he was not joining Dynamos – only training with them to keep himself fit.

“Like I said before I have not made a decision on my next move. I am just training with Dynamos to keep in shape. I will only know where I will be going at the end of the month. I will decide on my next move depending on the situation back in Lybia. The league there is currently on a break and if there is peace I will be going back but if violence continues I will decide which team to join. So far I am just training with Dynamos to keep myself fit. The fact that I chose to train with Dynamos does not mean I am joining them,” he told The Zimbabwean ******** in an interview this week.

The hard-running former Dynamos striker was instrumental in Dynamos’

challenge for the domestic league title in 2009 in which Dynamos were beaten to the finishing line by Gunners, who were then under the guidance of Moses Chunga.

He was also part of the squad that lost the title for the second year running to Motor Action, but left in the middle of the season to join Tunisian outfit Club Africain – who later loaned him to the Libyan club.
