HARARE - Controversial and self styled Reverend Obaddiah Musindo Musindo who was accused of having raped a member of his unknown church said that angles in heaven placed Mugabe as the president of the country. President Mugabe was made president by God and nothing can remove him not sanctions or elections. Mugabes name is written with the angels, said Musindo.
Mugabe eager to regain support lost to the MDC in the past decade has started a romance with the church. Churches such as the Anglican have been split because of Mugabes patronage. Renegade Aglican Bishop Kunonga is currently holding on to the properties of the church that he has divorced from.
Kunonga followers have driven out worshippers who do not toe the line and the majority of Anglicans are worshipping outside their church. Apart from Kunonga Mugabe has several other church leaders eating from his palm. Serial rapist Madzibaba Godfrey Nzira was controversially released from prison after serving less than half of his term on compassionate
grounds by Mugabe.
Nzira has already begun campaigning for Zanu PF in Chitiungwiza by preaching about Mugabe at church. Paul Mwazha who spoke at the rally representing all the apostolic churches in the country said that he is Zanu PF to the marrow. From the beginning I was Zanu PF and I preach about President Robert Mugabe in my sermons, said Mwazha.
